No one will answer questions?

To say that the Butte Fire emergency was not well-handled by Calaveras County officials is putting it way too mildly. For example:

There was what Cal Fire officials called a disturbance
on Jesus Maria Road on Saturday September 12, 2015 when residents were attempting to get answers from fire officials and fire officials felt they were making unwarranted demands on them.

The Fire Officials called the Calaveras Sheriff and complained that citizens were hindering operations with their questions and so-called demands!!  Residents felt helpless and no one would answer their questions.  They asked whoever they saw.

It is not currently being handled well at all in terms of giving information to home and property owners. There is no information except updates on once a day website or NO information at all. Residents have no one to call, no one to ask, to get any real information on current evacuations or movement on the fire, even when our home/property is directly involved. And if you call the Sheriff's office you get rudeness, (someone published their number for information, so they are inundated) even when giving your address, and, of course, the fire department is on voicemail, and I can leave a message.
