The only shelter the Calaveras County Sheriff is showing at this time is the San Andreas Town Hall. The phone number listed is 743-1575. We understand that the Mokelumne Hill Elementary School is also being used.
We haven't seen anything for animals yet. The Butte Fire was 2600 acres around midnight on September 10, 2015. We will update when we receive more information. Containment is listed at 30%. Thousands are without power due to lines destroyed overnight.
