UPDATE at 2:30 PM: Crews are trying to protect homes on Hwy 26 at this time. Air tankers are dumping retardant again and again all along the roadway.
September 10, 2015 at 1:45 PM: It was just relayed that the Butte Fire does not have enough resources for the amount of spread of the fire.
They are currently attempting to protect as many structures as possible and trying to get more help.
