September 11, 2015 at 9:20 AM: The sound of air tankers and helicopters is again filling the skies above Calaveras County as they begin making another day of runs to try and slow down the Butte Fire.
If you don't handle smoke well, stay out of Angels Camp. The smoke is laying in that basin and it is dark with brown haze. Ebbetts Pass is again free of smoke this morning. It's all up to the wind.
