During the Reggae in the Hills festival at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, Sheriff Deputies contacted a male subject who was later identified as Peter Daniel Lee (42, of Toronto, Ontario).
Lee was exhibiting bizarre behavior, and deputies determined that he was under the influence of a hallucinogenic substance and was arrested.
Following the arrest, Sheriff Deputies located a red colored substance called DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) which has the similar effects of LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) in Lee's possession, as well as a "2C-B" (Bromodimethoxyphenethylamine( (hallucinogen) pill on his person.
The suspect was charged with four counts of possession of a narcotic (11350 a HS) and being under the influence of a controlled substance (11550 a HS).
Lee is currently in custody with a bail amount of $26,250.
