Bear at Big Trees Market

This guy looks like he's smiling. Might
have just come from Big Trees Market.

   At around 9:30 PM on Monday August 6, 2012, the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office received a call from Big Trees Market in Arnold that there was a bear in the dumpster out back.

   This was not just any black bear, but reportedly a 300 pound bear. We're not sure how they weighed him, but the deputy wrote that there was no report made.

   Hungry bears will find a feast in dumpsters from a grocery store if they can get into them. Hopefully they didn't call Fish and Game to come kill it.
