Around 10 PM on Monday August 6, 2012, a report was called into the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office of a traffic hazard on Hwy 49 and 12.
Reportedly a man with a backpack was walking in the middle of the road, creating a dangerous situation for drivers.
No indication is given of whether a deputy found and removed the man or if he was gone before the deputy arrived.
