A report to the CHP  at 9:37 AM  on August 9, 2012, that traffic is blocked up in both the north and southbound lanes on Hwy 26 and 49 intersection of the thirteen curves area in San Andreas, and that a big rig is blocking the road there.
Also reported that a vehicle may be on its side in the area.
Two CHP units have now assessed the situation. A modular home came off of its trailer and went partially down an embankment. It will be some time before the area is cleared. Avoid the area if possible.
