Open Letter to Gary Tofanelli... About Term Limits

   Dear Mr. Tofanelli:
As Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, you essentially backed up your friend Tom Tryon in admonishing a GRAND JURY who dared to suggest that you Supervisors should have TERM LIMITS!

   How DARE
 they, you say!

If you don't see the problems long terms in office create, you should resign now, Mr. Chair.

Not one of you can see that if term limits are good enough for the President of the United States, it's good enough for local Supervisors. If the President doesn't get 20-30 years in office to learn what to do, then why should YOU!

That's the purpose of a democracy, to prevent corruption and dictatorships like I feel Tryon and Callaway have tried to instill in their districts.

You can and you should vote in TERM LIMITS for yourselves. The Grand Jury is Right! How dare you, our Supervisors,( of all people) admonish the Grand Jury!!

A disturbed voter in District 1

Well stated. Who will Tryon blame next? That is, if Tryon ever gets out of the donkey pen.
