Angels Master Creek Plan Passes

A sample of one days
trash along  public trails.
HOT OFF THE BYPASS & HEAVY WITH OBSERVANT OPINION

Through the usual "trick-speak" and moves of Dave Hanham, Planning Director,  Michael McHatten, City Administrator and the infamous City Attorney Matranga, the City Council of Angels Camp passed the Angels Camp Mater Plan, which creates a path for the public along Angels Creek.
While Councilmember Neuman suggested the language say that the path "will not be placed on anyones land without their permission", Matranga said "NO", just say "the City has no provisions for eminent domain".
Why does it always feel "slimy" after a long and protracted, not to say questionable resolution is passed?  What does Matranga have in mind. And believe me, the owners of this paper know what kinds of things he is capable of in order to get what he wants.
We feel for the people who own land along the creek. We can see BAD fortunes for them ahead, as this will be put into the County General Plan.   Interesting that all of the people who want it, live on dry land.
We've  heard it said that "the old ones will die off and the young ones will sell it off to us cheap".
If you want to live on the creek, BUY THE LAND!    If this wasn't passed, would that special committee have to repay all the money they took?
