As of July 23, 2017 at 7:15 AM the Detwiler Fire is reported at 76,000 acres. It is now 40% contained. This fire burned into 5 counties in Northern California, but did not reach Tuolumne.
63 residences and 67 other structures have been destroyed and many others damaged. Residents only are being allowed into areas being repopulated.
