UPDATE: This collision has caused fatal injuries to at least one person. CHP is investigating.
August 12, 2017 at 7:25 AM: A vehicle reportedly struck a tree and has overturned, trapping the victim inside at Jackson Valley Road and Hwy 88 in Ione.
Emergency personnel are responding to the scene. Be cautious if in that area.
