Calfire has apparently been investigating a ring of fireworks importing, transporting and selling,for years.
Today they arrested suspects in Copperopolis, Modesto, Salida, Hayward, Walnut Creek and Oakland, booking them into the Calaveras County Jail per their press release.
Also seized was over $115,000 in cash, computers, cell phones and firearms. Assisting CalFire was ATF, Calaveras and Stanislaus Sheriff departments, CHP and District Attorneys, and they served ten search warrants.
Congratulations to CalFire for helping to stem the tide of even more fires in California by confiscating these illegal fireworks.
The names of those alleged involved in the ring and booked into the Calaveras County Jail are Jack Schroll, Tonya Adele Schroll, Michael Solorio, Donald Cerasi, Leon Cerasi and Maria San.
