Calaveras Hate Groups publicly listed by SPLC

       The Southern Poverty Law Center tracks hate groups and has for many years in the U.S. Only one group is listed in Calaveras County at this time,
Chalcedon Foundation in Vallecito.

   We had been given tips of racist beliefs and teachings at that location and called to ask over 2 years ago.  The person who answered denied any such thing.

    Online it says they are part of the American Christian Reconstructionists, who recommend the death penalty for homosexuals. The suggestion of racism is also included in the text online.

   Sadly, we have been told there are other hate groups not publicly known yet, active and organizing in Calaveras.
