Fires in Southern California

  As of December 7, 2017 the Thomas Fire in Ventura County has burned over 90,000 acres and taken 73 homes, plus some
commercial and outbuildings. Containment is only 5%.

    The Creek Fire in LA County has burned over 12,000 acres and is only 10% contained. 5 residences and 7 outbuildings have been destroyed.

   The Rye Fire near Santa Clarita in LA County has burned 7000  acres and is 15% contained. 1 structure has been destroyed.

  The Skirball Fire is in the Bel Aire area of LA and at least two homes have been lost. 475 acres have been burned and many movie stars homes are in the path.
