Thomas Fire in Ventura County

  According to the CalFire website as of 6:35 AM on December 10, 2017 the Thomas Fire in Ventura County is 173,000
acres with 15% containment.

   Evacuations are taking place in Santa Barbara County ahead of this fire. One woman has now been declared dead as a result of this fire due to a traffic accident  as she was attempting to flee.

      This is in addition to the thousands of animals killed in these fires, which no one seems to want to acknowledge, including a stable of horses which were burned to death. 537 structures have been destroyed.
