Delores "Maryln" Fiscus, Angels Camp Native

   On Sunday May 27, 2018 Delores "Maryln" Fiscus went home to be with the Lord while at her residence surrounded by family and friends.  She was 83.

   Born April 29, 1935 in Angels Camp, Maryln was the daughter of the late Dolph Vergara and
Idamae (Whittle) Vergara. She attended Angels Grammar School and graduated from Bret Harte High School in 1954.

   On March 8, 1956, Maryln married her beloved husband, James (Jim) Fiscus. She was a member o the Calaveras Saddle Club and was awarded th 1996 Belle of the Camp.

   She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, writing poetry, spending time in the mountains an at the coast and showing border collies.

   Most of all Maryln enjoyed time spent with and caring for her family.

   She is survived by her two loving children Tim (Mariecella) Fiscus of Arnold and Terri Truelock of Angels Camp, five cherished grandchildren; Jesse (Mellissa) Truelock, Jason (Jessica) Truelock, Travis (Kylee) Truelock, Byron (Sara) Fiscus and Kaylinn (Brian) Callahan, seven great-grandchildren; Kimber, Shawna, Falynn, Hadley, Nicholas, Cody, Bailey, Lorelei and Elizabeth and her prized dog, Concho.

   In addition to her parents, Maryln is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Jim Fiscus and brother, Glen Vergara.

   A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Angels Camp Gun Club on Gun Club Road, outside Angels Camp.

   A luncheon and desserts will be served and stories are welcome.

   In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to Hospice of the Sierra, 2100 Cedar Road North in Sonora, 95370.
