Forest Service truck hits BEAR on Hwy 4????? NO warning whistles??

June 4, 2018 at 11 AM:  A US Forest Service truck has reportedly struck a bear on Hwy 4 near their office in the Hathaway Pines area.

Where were their warning whistles?  What were they doing driving so fast they could not stop?

No report is given on the condition of the bear. The driver suffered no injuries. They don't want a tow truck.

What is wrong with these people????

I hear they put food out in their dumpsters to lure them at the office there.

It should be a criminal act NOT to have those whistles on all vehicles, but especially the forest service. this is disgusting.

I don't think there is any excuse for this! If anyone is supposed to be protecting the poor creatures, its usfs.

Rumor is that they are way too busy helping the candyrock creeps keep up their criminal acts to be bothered with animals.
