On August 13, 2018 at 12 Noon, according to CHP, David Moore (74) of Oxnard was riding his Yahaha Majesty scooter
northbound on Hwy 49 in the 13 Curves near Mokelumne Hill.
Unable to negotiate a left hand curve, his Yamaha overturned, causing Moore to be ejected from the scooter.
Moore sustained major injuries, due to the collision and was life-flighted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.
Alcohol and or drugs are not considered to be a factor in this collision.
