We asked Peter Martin of the Calaveras County Water District about the meeting about the Mokelumne River. It was " not filmed it was just an info session, it is difficult to film there, but is centrally located in the community where the studies are being evaluated."
We asked if there were any problems with the environmental groups involving the study. Martin stated that "we did some verbal feedback from the Calaveras Planning Commission (Tom Infusino), Katherine Evatt (Foothill conservancy) and MyValleySprings (Joyce?).
Based on that feedback, we did some small cleanup of the draft study before posting it yesterday. I also agreed to meet separately with Tom and Katherine later this month to discuss their comments and continue the dialog.
Please note that the draft wasn't publicly available at the meeting yet so it's hard to determine what their comments will be at this point."
We are checking with these individuals to ask if everything is answering their concerns and will report back.
