There is a residency requirement that all Supervisors must live in Calaveras County. The Calaveras Grand Jury got a complaint about District 3 Supervisors home being in Danville.
Although the Grand Jury did learn that Oliveira does have a main home in Danville, they state that he spends most of his time and votes in Calaveras. Therefore they threw out the complaint.
The Grand Jury demanded authorized DMV records, homeowners exemption certificates and other forms of proof of where Oliveira lives.
