UPDATE: This was a big rig fire that closed Hwy 88 for several hours. Both the tractor and trailer were destroyed and HAZMAT was deployed to the scene.
September 3, 2017 at 6:50 AM: A car fire has been reported on Hwy 88 in Pioneer.
Fire personnel and CHP are responding immediately. Be cautious if in the area.
