I do hope both Steve and his K-9 recover without problems and thoughts are with the family. BUT.....what was he doing driving so fast coming from "off duty"?

Even when and if on a call emergency vehicles can only go 10 MPH OVER the speed limit. I have seen sherrif and ACPD driving on Hwy 49 WAAAAAAAY over their limits and driving with their lights and sirens on recklessly. Please slow down, and obey traffic laws EVERYONE.
