McClintock begs for help! CRA refuses to endorse him!

District 4 Congressman Tom McClintock sent out emails to all Tea Party members begging for help, saying "I need your help like never before."

McClintock accused "liberals", meaning anyone who opposes him, of creating a "jungle primary" because veteran Republican Art Moore has filed to run against him.
Veteran Art Moore likely
to unseat Tea Party McClintock

He must be desperate, to try and insult an honorable veteran (he is NOT) and another Republican (he is NOT--he is Tea Party) to try and get yet another term.

He will now most likely accuse Moore of  other dastardly acts, like  "living in District 4" (McClintock does NOT) and of being a "pro-job business Republican" (McClintock is NOT)!

We know that the California Republican Assembly (the most conservative Republicans in the state) refuse to endorse McClintock and that he has had trouble raising money (even traveling to SoCal, where he is from, to try and get more cash).

We can only speak for the business people we discussed this with and they will NOT give McClintock money because he is NOT a good Congressman!

the trouble is that mcclintock thinks anyone who isn't tea party is a liberal. he has a serious problem and will likely not win this fall.

One of the major sources of the false and yet to be answered rumors about the origin of Art Moore’s campaign for congress was the NorCal Tea Party.
None of them called me. I received several second-hand inquiries that members of the NorCal Tea Party were communicating as fact that I recruited Art Moore. These claims were in addition to the bald-faced lies about the CRA convention.
I’ve only received a call from one Tea Party leader in the area. I told that person the exact story.
The email they sent last night shows what may be their lack of knowledge of the top-two primary process. There are two reps and a DTS on the ballot. Two make it to November. Tom McClintock has way too much name ID and positive name ID at that for him to miss the runoff. Trying to “Primary” McClintock would have only been possible with a Dem on the ballot and then only with millions of dollars spent against him.
I have never met Ginni Rapini in person – yet for years, she and members of her group have been slandering myself and others in the CRA, repeating unvetted rumors and making character assessments that are untrue. These are the people that Steve Frank are replying upon in his quest to take over the California Republican Party.
The email she sent about Art Moore Follows:
Dear Patriot:
Art Moore is the guy who just filed to primary Tom McClintock. His consultant harbors a personal grudge against McClintock, and now Tom is going to have to spend a lot of money to defend his seat, when he should be raising money for other conservatives instead. This is really bad. We need to apply some heat to this guy’s personal Facebook page:
Facebook Link
People should be polite and respectful, but indignant and outraged at the same time. This guy grew up here, but has lived out of state for 18 years. He moved here to primary Tom. Why would he primary one of the most conservative Republicans in Congress, and a local hero (especially a tea party hero)? Because he’s a “better” conservative? Highly unlikely.
We’ve heard he has thin skin, and is very volatile. I would suggest an incessant campaign on his FB page indicated above.
Sincerely,
Ginny Rapini
NorCal Tea Party Coordinator
Similar to the assault by Tea Party leaders against the CRA for standing up and asserting our right to non-endorse, it appears that similar politics of personal destruction are being advocated by the NorCal tea party against Art Moore.
Neither help Tom McClintock at all.
Where is McClintock on all of this? The McClintock I know would not approve of any of this sort of behavior.

This is exactly the Tom McClintock we all know and despise. Where have u been?

Hey! This election gets hotter everyday. Keep cool, vets. The honorable veteran will come out a winner if you support him. McClintock votes against veterans benefits. Pay attention!!!

Looks like Art Moore didn't even have a chance to get his feet wet in this election. McClintock will pull out all the stops to hurt this veteran. Hope he is used to being "under fire".

I heard that someone thinks McClintock and Igor will join forces. that's a joke! They are only one small force together now. igor is still mcc's chief of staff, has no chance of beating Bera or even Ose for that matter. Come on Tea Party, throw your money away so McClintock can try to keep his way too cushy job and live in another district.

If only McClintock had done ONE thing for us who live here I would continue to support him; but he didn't and am angry that he doesn't even live here. I'm not voting for him again. He can go back to LA where he comes from. I want a local person representing me in Washington.

Yeah, come on, mcclintock fans. he needs big money. no nickel and dime stuff. sell your house so he can have to money to support HIS 4900' house in Bera's district. If you really "luv him" you'll do it.

McClintocks attacks on a West Point grad and vet show what he is really like and how he really feels about vets.

Somewhere along the line, the phrase "true conservative" was distorted to mean "anti-women's rights" "hate for minoriites" and "the right to own 1000 automatic weapons".
Whatever happened to the GOP that said conservative was good jobs with lower taxes for the middle class and less government? It's gone!!

You don't know? it was Reagan. One of his aides probably said, "hey, let's invite the religious right in and pretend like we care about their issues." We can get elected that way. The problem was, the party allowed them to infiltrate central committees and they have been trying to take over the entire party ever since at the orders of their ministers and priests.

oh, that is so tru. the churches want to be back in control of government and if we don't watch out, they will be.

In some ways I think it would be good to have the church in control. maybe people wouldn't kill each other so much and there wouldn't be so many wars.

Anonymous said...

Now that was the stupidest statement I've heard all day. Christians and other religious people are the REASON for most wars. Don't you read history?

Remember Doolittle? Well McClintock is known as "DOO LESS"!

As far as the Tea Party goes, they were doomed from the beginning. No one with real brains runs that outfit. When I first started going to their meetings I thought they were about taxes. Boy did I learn what they were really about. No more!!

In the last election, almost 90% of McClintock's itemized campaign donations came from out of this District. He doesn't live here, he gets his money from out of the district and he doesn't work for the district. McClintock is just a TP guy, not a real Republican. If you can't donate money to Art Moore, talk to your friends, put up signs, write letters, anything you can think of to get his name out there.

McConnell was right when he said you can "crush" the tea party by withholding money. They are all now fighting against each other. love it.

Did you read Tony Quinn's article in Fox and Hounds today. He says McClintock is in trouble. We all know it. And now as he gets desperate he's insulting the veteran Art Moore for running against him. Go back to LA McClintock, where you belong.
