According to CHP on Mary 26, 2014 around 5 PM Jennifer Colbert (40) of Valley Springs was driving her 2004 Ford Focus eastbound on Hwy 26 west of Hogan Dam Road.
Due to her level of intoxication, per CHP, she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and lost control of her vehicle.
The Ford left the roadway and collided with a barbed wire fence south of the roadway and then rolled over and came to rest with the driver's side down.
After the collision, Colbert was transported by ambulance to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment.
According to the report, Colbert was arrested for alleged misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence and was subsequently booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
