Along with Kathy Northington, Calaveras County Superintendent of Schools, several others have not been challenged
for re-election in 2014.
Leslie Davis, the extremely competent and honest Tax Assessor, and Rebecca Callen, the Auditor who has brought several items to light over her first term, including questionable handling of grant money at the Sheriff's Office, will easily be re-elected.
We didn't even hear any talk of a challenge to either Davis or Callen.
Kevin Raggio, Coroner, Barbara Sullivan, Tax Collector and Barbara Yook, District Attorney are also running unopposed.
