Rancho Calaveras (District 5) in a Quagmire? Divided?

The 2014 District 5 (Rancho Calaveras) Supervisorial race could become a divided world, just like the Republican Party is nationwide.

The two Democrats in the race, Crane and Spellman, will be competing against the two Republicans; Ekatakhri (Tea Party) vs Kearney (business and job Republican).

Since everyone knows that Spellman cannot win re-election, (he pretends to be Republican, but is well-known to be a wolf in sheep's clothing), he won't likely be a factor.

And while ordinarily Crane would be a "million-to-one" shot, an actual miracle waiting to happen after running for office for more years than most of us care to count, with the Tea Party candidate supported by Peter Racz, could change that.

As the Tea Party is doing across the country, it is dividing pragmatic, well-thinking Republicans with the extremist, hard core right.

What this does is cause a divide, leaving what should have been an easy victory for someone like Steve Kearney, into a win for anti-law enforcement, pro-welfare liberals like Crane.

We still consider Crane to be a "quacking" miracle, as everyone knows about her problems and unending desire to win elected office, just about ANY elected office.  Most say she has no other life.

Us Rancho people are always in a quagmire. Especially since FEMA came in, don't you know?

Yes and Spellman lead the charge to Lungren's office with two other supervisors, Tofanelli (gone) and Callaway for an illegal quorum meeting.
District 5 voters, neither Spellman nor the other supervisors have done anything to alleviate, reduce, remove your expensive flood insurance requirement.
Is it time to make Spellman GONE?
Were you better off 4 years ago than today?
